Jeff Johnson for Governor

Jeff was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota by wonderful, hard-working parents. His father still calls Detroit Lakes home, as does his sister and her family. Jeff graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1985, Concordia College in Moorhead in 1989 and Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C. in 1992.

Jeff met the love of his life, Sondi, at Concordia and they have been married for 24 years. They have two boys, Thor (19) and Rolf (15), and they reside in Plymouth with their bulldog Chester (7).

Jim Hagedorn for Congress

Hagedorn’s back-to-back-to-back campaigns follow successful similar efforts undertaken by former Minnesota Congressman John Kline, current Minnesota Congressman Collin Peterson and former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich.

He deployed to combat zones in Central Europe and the Middle East seven times as a pilot and then as an advisor and judge in Iraq. Few things can punctuate how important freedom and security are than working to help those who have been denied both.

Rich Stanek for Hennepin County Sheriff

In 2006, with the surge of violent crime in Minneapolis, Rich ran for Sheriff of Hennepin County. Rich makes hundreds of appearances in the County every month; he has never rested — not for one day in the past 9 years — until he was confident that the Agency and he had done everything possible to make Hennepin County safe for all of our kids and all of our families.

And that is what Rich Stanek brings to the Office of Sheriff that is unique: a vision and mission for the Sheriff’s Office that is making a real difference in keeping our families, neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and places of worship safe.

Pam Myhra for State Auditor

A former two-term Minnesota State Representative serving the City of Burnsville in Dakota County and the City of Savage in Scott County, Pam served as a member of the Capital Investment, Education Finance, Education Policy, and Tax committees. She also served as the minority lead member on the Early Childhood and Youth Development Policy Committee and as a member of the Education Finance and Tax committees. Pam also was appointed the minority party House legislative liaison to the Minnesota Early Learning Council and to the Minnesota Youth Council.

Pam is a Certified Public Accountant with an active license and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the MN Society of CPAs.

Karin Housley for US Senate

Born and raised in South St. Paul, and a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Karin has worked as a TV news producer, hosted a radio show, written an investment book, and owned a successful real estate business.  Married to her high school sweetheart, Phil, Karin has four children and two grandchildren. The Housleys spent 20 years moving and working all over the United States and Canada due to Phil’s NHL Hall of Fame hockey career, but they’ve always kept Minnesota as their “forever home” in the St. Croix River Valley.

In 2012, Karin was elected to the Minnesota State Senate. She now serves as chairwoman of the Aging and Long-Term Care committee, Vice-Chair of the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee and serves on the Veterans and Military Affairs, and Jobs and Economic Growth Committees.

Pete Stauber for Congress

Commissioner Stauber’s political career began when he served two terms as a Hermantown City Councilor. In 2012, he successfully ran for St. Louis County Commissioner against a 16-year incumbent. In his second year on the County Board, Commissioner Stauber served as vice-chair, and in his third year; chairperson. In 2016, Stauber was re-elected as County Commissioner with 78% of the total votes. He is currently serving his second term on the St. Louis County Board.

Jim Newberger for US Senate

Jim Newberger, a third-term Minnesota House member, recived the GOP endorsement to challenge Amy Klobuchar, to keep jobs in Minnesota, and grow our economy. As a conservative, Newberger is pledging to restore “balance” to the Minnesota congressional delegation. Jim lives in Becker, MN with his wife of 27 years, and has three grown daughters.
